Site Design Process
This process has been formulated to be collaborative without taking up too much of your time (you have running a business to do, afterall). This ensures that our time together runs efficiently and effectively.
I meet with all of my clients on a call because I believe strongly in personality matches. Theres someone for everyone and to ensure the success of YOUR brand, we need to make sure we gel as well as ensure we choose the right solutions for your needs.
The website kickoff is a roughly 45 minute call where we plan out the needs and goals of the website as well as each page. We'll discuss and share inspiration, competitor sites, and what each page needs to accomplish as well as the platform and functionality needed for the site.
After getting all the info from you at our Website Kickoff, I take a couple weeks to design out your Homepage based on our conversation. I take your brand into deep consideration (even more-so if I designed it!) and you'll receive a digital mockup to provide feedback on design and layout. Once this is completed it can help inform the remaining pages on design and style.
With the Homepage approved, we can begin mapping out the remaining pages with design and layout. Keeping in mind the goals of each page and the overall desired experience. We'll be communicating in Superlunar's project portal and sharing feedback and progress. This timeline varies depending on the size of your site and speed of communication.
Once the site is built, we enter Quality Testing mode. Its well known in design and copywriting worlds that the longer you spend looking at something, the more often your brain fills in/corrects errors so this is where its time to use an outside source (you!) to review the pages, log any misspellings, broken links, layout bugs, etc. so we can be sure things are perfect for launch.
Your website is complete, tested, and approved and ready for publishing! This includes moving or connecting your domain and ensuring everything is connected. If your domain hosting is something you choose not to share with us or want to handle on your own the end of the project will be upon final approval.
